Gas in Europe: flows, storage and price on one map
OKO shows where gas flows into Europe and through Slovakia: daily flows at border points, storage levels, LNG send-out and a gas price derived from data of the EU regulator ACER. Every figure shows the date it refers to and clearly marks what is provisional or derived.
Flows at interconnection points
The globe shows more than 30 points where gas flows. On Slovakia’s borders they are Veľké Kapušany and Budince (Ukraine), Výrava (Poland), Veľké Zlievce (Hungary), Lanžhot (Czechia), Baumgarten (Austria) and the Láb storage site; further entries come from Norway, the United Kingdom, Algeria and Libya, plus routes from the east such as TurkStream. Each point has a card with the previous day’s flow, a 7-day average and a 31-day chart.
ENTSOG data are provisional (for the previous day) and point locations are approximate. The map also shows pipelines from OpenStreetMap — a flow appears on a pipe only where it is linked by name to a tracked point.
Prices, storage and LNG
The front-month TTF price is derived from the daily LNG price assessment published by ACER — it is not an exchange quote, and OKO labels it as derived. Monthly IMF data from FRED extend the history: from 1992, in euros from 1999.
Storage levels and LNG send-out come from the GIE AGSI+ and ALSI platforms. Monthly imports by partner country — often the last transit country rather than the origin of the gas — come from Eurostat with a delay of two to three months. LNG carriers are ships from live AIS: confirmed against a list from Wikidata, the rest marked as likely by name, type and size.
How often the data change
The panel and the globe layer refresh every 30 minutes. The sources themselves publish daily — flows for the previous day, prices on weekday evenings, storage daily — and Eurostat monthly.

FAQ
Is the TTF price an exchange quote?
No. OKO derives it from the ACER daily assessment (LNG price minus benchmark). It is labelled as derived and published on weekday evenings.
Can I see the flow in every pipeline?
No. A flow appears only at tracked points and on pipelines linked to them by name.
How current are the flows?
Flows are for the previous day and provisional. OKO checks them every 30 minutes.
Does OKO show household gas prices?
No. OKO shows wholesale prices — the TTF price derived from ACER data and the long-term IMF history.
